Why choose a ScanPad?

The ScanPad has long been the leading ultrasound machine for small animal pregnancy scanning, and is particularly popular with dog breeders. The latest ScanPad is the culmination of two and a half years of R&D (combined with the previous 10 in the development of the original ScanPad). Utilising ScanX probe technology, it offers a jump in image quality over previous versions of the ScanPad and the ScanPad+. Video saving is now also a lot faster than ever before.

What else is new?

A major new addition to the ScanPad is pulse wave Doppler. This allows you to visualise and measure umbilical flow or flow through the foetal heart or aorta. Speakers inside your machine also allow you to hear the “puppy’s heartbeats” – hugely popular with clients. If you are new to using Doppler, it can seem difficult to get your head around, but that is what we are here for! As one of our customers, you are always welcome to arrange a Zoom call with our sonographers, for free, whenever you need help with your system.
